If the end-of-summer blues is setting in, here’s something that’ll certainly perk you up.
Midtown Crossing’s End of Summer Concert Series returns to Turner Park in late August with a performance by Judah & The Lion, a Nashville folk-pop trio (photographed above) consisting of lead singer, Judah Akers; banjo player, Nate Zuercher; and mandolinist, Brian Macdonald.
Judah & The Lion’s music comes from many influences that cumulates in a blend of folk instruments, played with fresh musicianship and powerful vocal harmonies. The group got its start in 2011 and are known for creating honest and relatable music.
The University of Nebraska at Omaha sponsors the annual outdoor music series which kicks off 6:30 p.m. Aug. 20 near 33rd and Farnam Streets. The university will provide pre-concert entertainment by musicians and performers.

Food and beverages will be available for sale. All concerts are free and open to the public. Free 3 hour parking is available. Tents, tarps, stakes, open flames and hard liquor are not allowed. You may bring your own food and beverages.
