Living in the 90’s with Greek Week 2014

The University of Nebraska at Omaha spent the past week in the 1990s as the Greek community celebrated Greek Week 2014.
“Living in the 90s” Greek Week kicked off on Monday, April 21, with Slime a Greek. For $3, students could toss buckets of slime on representatives of each team. A late night game of capture the flag finished Monday’s activities. Do You Dare Jeopardy combined 90’s and UNO trivia and was followed by a 90’s themed charity fashion show to benefit the Heart Ministry Center.
A bit of rough weather relocated the Theta Chi Olympics on Wednesday, but events like blind leading the blind and tug-of-war highlighted the event.
Thursday served as the shining night of the week with the All That Skit Night hosted by FOCUS Greek. Each team was able to perform a skit in the style of the classic 90s show “All That!”
The week concluded on Friday with the Awards and Recognition ceremony.  Sigma Phi Epsilon and Alpha Xi Delta, Team Recess, walked away with the overall win for the week.
