Women’s basketball wins two at home

A week after facing Division I competition in a trip to the East coast, the UNO women's basketball team was back in Omaha for two matchups with Division II teams.  Stacia Gebers had a career-high 18 points and junior guard Paige Frauendorfer added two double doubles in wins over York and Briar Cliff.

Mavs take two at Southwest Baptist

The UNO baseball team took two road wins at Southwest Baptist on Friday. The Mavs (5-2, 3-1 MIAA) beat the Bearcats 8-2 in game one and 8-3 in game two.  UNO rebounded to win the last three games of the four-game series against the Bearcats after dropping Thursday's opener 11-8.


Coach Patton Shearer resigns
