Anticipation and screams filled the air April 2 at The Waiting Room as the crowd, which consisted mainly of teenage girls, waited for The Ready Set to take the stage. The show was the Omaha leg of the Glamour Kills Tour, for which The Ready Set is headlining.

Q&A with local band After the Fall

Local band After the Fall formed in late 2005 and features Justin Inget on vocals, Casey Minkten on guitar and Justin Eatherton on drums. Derek Stearns, a UNO senior pursuing a bachelor's of science in accounting, plays guitar for the band. Steven Stojka, a UNO alumni with a bachelor's in studio art technology, is After the Fall's bassist.

The 22-year-old violinist/artist has performed with musical greats such as Rod Stewart, Josh Groban, Mannheim Steamroller, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Michael Buble and Mary J. Blige. But she says she always feels as if there's something out there she can do better.
