International student orders take out, best pizza in his life

In the U.S., people like to get their food by take out from restaurants.
The best restaurant I have eaten in is Domino's restaurant.
The restaurant has many kinds of food on the menu, for example, wings, pizza, pasta, and cheese bread. Yesterday, I had a delicious pizza from Domino's restaurant.
The pizza was the best one I ever had in my life.

Gun control reform necessary for public safety

In hindsight of the horrific events that transpired in Aurora, Colo. and other acts of gun violence, there should be greater federal restriction on the types of firearms citizens are allowed to purchase.

Pick a side or admit bias

This week, I heard a lecture from a journalist who traveled to Iraq as an "embedded journalist." Basically, that means that he traveled with a military unit as he wrote and reported the news.
This has been a fairly common practice since before my time, but there are still journalists who go out on their own to get the story.
A lot of people defend embedded journalism by saying that Iraq, Afghanistan, and other war zones don't offer the safety for a journalist to move freely. I understand and agree; however, journalism is supposed to be objective.

Americans have a right to know

Over 30 years ago, President Nixon changed the way the people of the United States view the government. It became apparent that the word of a government official isn't always trustworthy. In the 1970s, this was a disgrace and the people didn't stand for it.  The media exposed the Watergate Scandal and those involved were ashamed. Nixon was impeached, and ultimately resigned from office.
In the 1990s, President Clinton faced allegations of a sex scandal in the White House. Accused of an affair with a White House intern, he told the country a lie that forever stained his career. Although a bill of impeachment was brought before Congress, it never passed, and Clinton remained in office until the end of his term.
Despite the obvious immorality of the lie he told, Clinton's reputation remained in good shape with many Americans. They stood behind the idea that his sexual relationships were none of the public's business.

Omaha takes cycling from recreation to transportation

Omaha has a growing cycling community and the city is well on its way to making its streets safer for cyclists. Omaha has the potential to be a bike-friendly city.

U.S. education different than China

The education systems of China and the United States of America are completely different.

Contempt for Thatcher’s death disrespectful, shameful

Margaret Thatcher, former British prime minister, passed on as all people eventually do.
However, unlike most people, her death has been marked by celebrations and ugly rhetoric praising her end. To be honest, I was reminded of the people cheering in the streets when the World Trade Center was struck.

Another year of change

The end is near.
