CultureFest 2011 creates a foundation for diversity

LeAnn Clausen's journey to a booth in the UNO ballroom was a long time coming, but the journey was not hers alone. Hours of genealogical work, a passion for her history and a genuine interest in heritage, all championed and completed by her grandmother, are what brought her to UNO on Feb. 27.

MLK’s dream discussed at UNO

A crowd of about 25 people gathered in the CPACS commons Tuesday to watch Martin Luther King, Jr.'s famous "I Have a Dream" speech and discuss its impact on today's world.


Trivia night proceeds help fight cancer

Kim Lange asked a stumped crowd of more than 100 when the first skyscraper was built. Lange wasn't teaching a course in architectural history -  she was sponsoring and acting as quizmaster for UNO's Relay for Life trivia night.


2011 Student Election Guide

More than 25 Student Government candidates gathered in the Milo Bail Student Center on Feb. 20 for election orientation.  During the meeting an election committee, composed of current UNO Student Government members, informed candidates of important guidelines.
