UNO panel discusses changes in Egypt

A young college graduate faces the world with optimism only to be stonewalled by the harsh reality of a tough job market.  Months go by with no prospects in their field.  Five years later and still no work.  This is the economic and social frustration that led an entire country to start a movement based not on political affiliations, but a need for change in Egypt.


Vision beyond borders helps believers practice religion in secret

Over two billion people identify themselves as Christians, comprising 22 percent of the world's total population. Nearly 63 percent of those practicing this faith are native to Europe and North America, according to a report by the Pew Research Center. Vision Beyond Borders, an organization whose mission is to provide Bibles and service to Christian followers in nations where Christianity must be worshiped in secret, has made it their goal to spread their faith and the word of God to those living in areas such as Southeast Asia.
 


NU, China sign agreement for culture center

The University of Nebraska and Xi'an Jiatong University in China have signed an agreement to establish an American Culture Center in Xi'an China, said University of Nebraska President James Milliken Oct. 19.
