Local benefactors contribute to UNO’s academic success

The giving season may be long over, but it hasn‘t stopped for the University of Nebraska Omaha athletic department. Recently, UNO's athletic department was given a leadership gift by local benefactors Brian and Carey Hamilton. The donation will be used toward the construction of an on-campus Academic Excellence Center for university athletes.

$3,000 allocated for purchase of student artwork

Come spring, some campus walls may be a little less bare and some UNO art students' pockets a little less empty.  On Thursday, Feb. 17, the UNO Student Senate voted to allocate $3,000 of the University's budget to purchase student artwork for campus buildings.
