B-cycle is a bike sharing system in Omaha that launched on June 15, 2011. In an effort to help encourage physical activity on campus, UNO placed two solar powered B-cycle kiosks on campus - one on the south side of the Milo Bail Student Center and the other near the shuttle stop on 67th Street by Mammel Hall. The other three kiosks are located in Aksarben Village.
The UNO campus was busier than usual with the Fourth Annual National Student Speech Language Hearing Association Pancake Feed taking place. Anxiously anticipating a pancake and sausage dinner, Omaha residents lined up in the UNO Alumni Center to be part of the event put on by the UNO chapter of the NSSLHA.
