Inglewood, California’s Cali Swag District will make their way to Lincoln this Saturday, March 5 along with Nelly, 3OH!3, Sick Puppies, Big Reeno and DJ Dextrious on the Blizzard Tour.

Cali Swag’s debut album “Kickback” is set to be released this year. The Gateway had a chance to chat with the guys about their first trip to Nebraska this weekend:

Rachel George: Have you been to Nebraska before? How do you feel about coming here?

Smoove: We haven’t been out to Nebraska, but we’re excited to come through and show you all what Cali Swag District is all about.

RG: What are your hopes for the tour?

M-Bone:We just hope to show our fans how much fun we can have on stage. We’ve been rehearsing a lot and have dancers and a great show prepared. We really want to bring back the fun back to hip hop with our live show.

RG: What tracks can fans expect to hear at the show?

Yung: Fans will hear, of course, our platinum single “Teach Me How to Dougie,” our newest single “Kick Back” and some new tracks from our upcoming album.

RG: How has the success of “Teach Me How to Dougie” affected you?

Jayare: It showed us that hard work and dedication truly pays off. It’s been such great experience, and such a blessing. We are so lucky to have this opportunity, and we take none of our success for granted.

We thank every one of our fans for their ongoing support and love!

The guys will teach Nebraska “how to Dougie” at the Pershing Center, 15 and N Sts., at 6 p.m.

Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 the day of show. The show is for ages 18 and older.
